Measuring success by the success we bring our clients.

priority

After seeing how numerous family and friends were being exploited by so-called “financial advisors,” Trent Porter wanted to offer trust worthy financial services that truly focused on clients’ needs. With this goal in mind, he founded Priority Financial Partners. Trent is uniquely qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and a certified life coach, he combines all three to manage his clients’ financial futures, enabling them to focus on what’s really important in life.

Previously as a director and CCO of nationally recognized Veritat Advisors, Trent worked closely with co-founder and Wharton professor Kent Smetters to successfully launch a fee-only financial planning platform that erased commission-based bias and put clients’ interests first, an effort that was praised by the Wall Street Journal. Prior to Veritat Advisors, Trent worked as an advisor for the prestigious J.F. Williams Co., located in Denver, CO.

From regular interviews on NPR to guest hosting the “Your Money” show on SiruisXM radio, media outlets frequently reach out to Trent for his extensive industry insight and expertise in personal finance (see above for a few notable examples).

About Brian Trainor

Brian and his wife, Andrea, live in Loveland where they raise their two children, Courtney and Loghan. They love to hike and travel as a family. Brian originally moved to the Front Range to attend Colorado State University on a track scholarship. He was a two-time All American discus thrower, while earning his undergraduate degree in technology education. After graduation, Brian taught construction in the Front Range for two years while assisting his brother Adam on construction projects. With the goal of becoming an Olympic discus thrower, Brian attended the 2004, 2008 and 2012 US Olympic Trials; he continues to train and compete professionally with plans for a trip to Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

In personal life, Brian has achieved immense success. But the wisdom he gleaned from Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad taught him that success is not a stop sign; it is a green light! In 2006, Brian made the transition from teaching, to a full-time focus on his career in real estate. Brian spent his first years on site selling new construction. He now leads the 970 Realtor Team at C3 Real Estate Solutions. They focus on selling new construction, existing homes and investment properties, which allows them to help buyers and sellers grow their wealth through real estate. In 2014 the team’s buyer specialist, Tim Anderson won the Fort Collins Board of Realtors award. Brian’s team has averaged 3 transactions a week for the last two years, and look forward to serving many more clients along the Front Range.
